You can now pay your taxes directly from our property search screen. Your secure payment will go to Point and Pay. Trinity County Appraisal District has an agreement with Point & Pay, LLC to provide its customers with automated credit card payment services. Point & Pay, LLC will charge you a convenience fee for this service, which you will be notified of before you complete your payment. Trinity County Appraisal District does not receive any portion of this convenience fee.
Credit card payments will be charged a fee of 2.5% with a minimum charge of $2.50
E-checks will be charged a flat fee of $2.00
Credit Card payments will NOT be reflected immediately on the website. Payments made online generally take 4-5 business days to process, however, today's date will be used as the payment date.
To access our new online payment system, please click on Property search from our home page. Once you have located the property you want to pay, you may click the pay taxes button at the top left of the screen. You can then check the tax years you want to pay. The amount due will show in the payment box, or you can make a partial payment by typing another amount in the payment box. When the amount you want to pay shows in the payment box, click proceed to payment cart. Fill in the appropriate information to process your payment. You will receive a confirmation at the end of you transaction. You will also receive a receipt from the Appraisal District once the payment is processed in our system.
